The Way to Happiness
Motor Sports Club
The Motor Sports Club came about in a bit of a circuitous manner. Christopher Hill, a professional race car driver and instructor, wanted to use his racing to help promote the Way to Happiness so his father asked a client of his, Randy South, to design a Way to Happiness logo that could go on Christopher’s rally car. Randy did this and the results were fantastic. The logo was shown to the executives at the Way to Happiness Foundation and they really liked it. In the meantime, Christopher and Max McFarlane connected as Max was beginning to race go-karts. As Christopher is a pro instructor he went out to the tracks with Max several times to help him with his racing. Christopher and Max then decide to ask the Way to Happiness Outdoors Club if they would like to sponsor the car and the go-kart. It was suggested to start a club of their own and so the Way to Happiness Motor Sports Club was born.
The purpose of the Way to Happiness Motor Sports Club is to promote the Way to Happiness through motor sports activities and to help sponsor the drivers and club members who do promote the Way to Happiness.
The Way to Happiness Motor Sports Club will hold various fundraising activities. The Club is planning to hold several endurance racing events. We invite other charitable groups to participate. Each group will have a team of 6-10 drivers and each team will race a go-kart for 4-6 hours. Each group will get people to pledge contributions for each lap completed by the team. Membership in the Club is open to any interested individual who agrees with the goals and purposes of the Way to Happiness Motor Sports Club. The following types of memberships are available:
