This page gives the rules and point status of the players and members.
The monthly games (see schedule) start at 7:00 PM. Dates are subject to change. Buy-in is $40.00 for $4,000 chips, re-buys are $20.00 for 2,000 chips (1st hour only), and add-on at the end of the first hour is $20.00 for 2,500 chips. There is a $5.00 supplies fee that will go towards refreshments, poker chips, cards, etc.
In addition to the entry for the monthly games each player member shall contribute $20 per month to the WSOP entry fee. Depending on the total collected by entry time the winner of the series will go to the WSOP and play for the club.
Non-players can join and pay the $20 per month. They will get 20th or last place points, which ever is lower. It is not required that one join the club to play. Neither is it required that one play to join the club. One may join the retroactively club back to two months (i.e., pay up to two months prior to joining) and get points for the prior two months once joined. One can’t join for earlier than November, 2010. It’s kind of awkward to explain this so let me put it this way - if you played in November and December and then decide to join in January one can get the points "earned" in November and December. One can’t play from November to May and then decide to join in June and get all points "earned" from November to May. The points awarded would be for April, May, and June.
To keep it equitable, any prizes won in WSOP will be split as follows - 50% of prize money will be split evenly by all members, playing and non-playing, based on total contributions to the entry fee monies. The other 50% of winnings from WSOP to be split per the number of points accumulated to date of WSOP entry being paid.
Club may decide to send a player to other tournaments as seems fit. In this case "WSOP" in the above sections applies to these other tournaments.
